Water water water all day every day & nothing else appeals to me & nothing else will satisfy me.

[–] moondoggie@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Brawndo. It mutilates my thirst and, as a bonus, it’s got what plants crave.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 7 points 15 hours ago

a mix between egirl bath water and egirl piss. bonus points for a splash of egirl spit.

🤤

Water for sure #1

Cafe con leche favorite caffeine drink. Diet coke distant second, but I like it.

Cocktails, tie between margarita and paper plane I think.

Wine? A dry Sauvignon Blanc.

[–] fubarx@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

[–] DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earth 6 points 1 day ago

Water usually, but coffee is #2 and sometimes I'll drink tea, wine, V8, or beer. Mimosas and bloody Marys can really hit spot sometimes and smoothies get an honorable mention as well.

Jamaica with vanilla cream.

I brew hibiscus flowers and chill it, then I add vanilla coffee creamer.

Smooth and tasty, but it's acidic, so yo gotta drink it promptly. It can get weird if you add cream and leave it in the fridge.🤢

Sometimes I add vodka.

By order of preference:

  • water
  • lemonade, iced, sweetned, with a mint leaf
  • iced tea, home made
  • ginger ale, again, home made

(stay with me, people, I'm just that annoying)

  • ginger beer, non-alcoholic, again, home made
  • a store brand energy drink and that drink alone; other drinks taste like disappointment and industrial solvents
  • sparkling water, chilled, but only if Pedras Salgadas; it's slightly bitter and acidic
  • gin & tonic, in a chilled glass, for a late afternoon drink
  • moscaranja, a mixed drink with Moscatel wine and fresh orange juice, high ball glass, with ice
  • Pisang Ambon and orange juice, with ice, same presentation as above
  • sangria, and this implies red wine, not champagne, sparkling wine, rosé, etc. Just a nice strong red wine, poured over fresh fruit, a bit of orange juice, sugar and a bit of sparkling water. With ice.
  • chilled white wine. No ice. Watered wine tastes like dish water and sadness.
  • coke, over ice, with a slice of lemon
  • beer, if nothing else available and I'm walking home

Tea. Specifically, what's known in other parts of the world as "English Breakfast (Black) Tea". Because I'm British and grew up with it.

Although I vary quite a bit from average. Mine's usually decaffeinated with sweetener and soy milk for health reasons.

[–] sfxrlz@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 day ago

Actually coca Cola. But since my dentist bills have been getting expensive it’s sparkling water.

[–] falseWhite@lemmy.world 4 points 11 hours ago

#1 Water

#2 Milkshakes

[–] SansJose5000@ani.social 4 points 2 days ago

Apple juice has been hitting good for me recently

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Chai latte. With or without espresso, depending.

[–] Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Beer. I love it.

Non-alcoholic, then probably the tropical pop from Aldi.

Dragonfruit Mio in carbonated water

Also their grape flavor is good too

[–] glorkon@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I'm a fucking snob so I spend way too much money on expensive single malts and gyokuro green tea.

[–] popekingjoe@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Ice water. Always.

I also really love orange juice and most cherry flavored sodas, both artificial and natural.

[–] Brosplosion@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Old-fashioned or a Gimlet depending on company/mood

[–] happysplinter@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Man I love a gimlet.

[–] SlurpingPus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Kefir is great for complaints from the stomach. And great in general.

Unsweetened ice tea. It's water with flavor and no calories aka guilt.

[–] JoeKrogan@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Coconut water

Orange juice
I'm allergic to it, but it's an allergy I developed as an adult. As a kid I loved it, and I miss it so much.

Also Clearly Canadian blackberry flavour.

[–] GrantUsEyes@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago

Plain water +lime & salt, flavored electrolytes, beer.

[–] kubofhromoslav@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Water most of the time. Even when I was a kid I refused sodas quite early. I am sorry for many children that are socially force-fed soda by hijacking their ancient instincts using marketing and weak regulation and enabled by short term thinking parents, who are themselve socially programmed for that 😥 It is a vicious circle that is hard to escape on societal level...

And also oat milk.

[–] msokiovt@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

I have two: water and green tea. That's it, nothing else.

Sometimes, though, I drink coffee, but it's unlikely I'll do that (one mug of coffee or green tea is enough for me).

[–] IWW4@lemmy.zip 3 points 11 hours ago

Non alcoholic go toes

  • Coffee

Alcoholic go toes

  • Maker Mark and Diet Coke
  • Gin and Tonic

Water, chocolate milk, roof beer, whiskey-ginger.

[–] Chais@sh.itjust.works 5 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Is that beer that stood in the roof the whole day, so it's nice and warm?

[–] nomy@lemmy.zip 3 points 7 hours ago

Sun-bleached and exposed to the elements, that's how I like my drinks.

[–] Hossenfeffer@feddit.uk 3 points 5 hours ago

Whisky. Ideally a single malt. Double ideally an Islay single malt. Triple ideally a Port Ellen single malt.

Sadly, the Port Ellen distillery was closed in 1983 which means bottles go for a minimum of £1000 (probably more, it's been a while since I last checked). The distillery was apparently reopened last year, but it'll be years before we discover if the new expressions are as perfect as they used to be.
