Shit like the other comment is why the left will never win in the US. They don't care about your point or even progressing the conversation.
As long as they get their little point they don't care. They got to "ackshually" on the internet and that hit of dopamine is good enough.
The last 2 guns I bought:
Big box store, rifle: Show my ID, walk out with my rifle. The person didn't mention any training at all though we did bullshit about guns the entire time and it's a big box store so they just didn't care.
Small local shop, handgun: Looked at the case, found the one I wanted, handle it, confirm I want to purchase it. They take my ID and run it through some sort of crime database confirming I'm not a violent felon. I walk out with my gun 30 minutes later. I truly don't remember them mentioning training or safety or even ranges.

Honestly, I wish I'd just dropped at 16 and gotten my associates. I could've gotten into a city where there are jobs and education opportunities by the time I was 20 and have been positioned a lot better.
I wouldn't actually recommend anyone reading this to drop out, but hindsight is 20/20 and I think it would've worked for me.
