2 years ago. The last time I visited that subreddit. It was actually full of people that were critiquing Joe’s right wing shift. The sub wasn’t even like focusing on new episodes it was just shitting on the shill Rogan has become.
I imagine what’s happened is the sub has been takeovered and they’ll be mass bans and it’ll turn back into “pro-Rogan”.

My problem with Rogan is that he gave bad uninformed advice during the pandemic, all because he's too insecure about how other people perceive him. His insecurities almost certainly caused many people to die.
And I don't think his show is even worth one person's life, so he can't really ever redeem himself.

The subredditdrama post about this has been fun to follow.
What's wild is /r/JoeRogan was mostly people shitting on him. They made another bot filled subreddit /r/powerfuljre that felated Joe and espoused his talking points and the people in /r/JoeRogan would always shit on that sub. I find it odd that the mods of /r/JoeRogan would do this. Probably got paid off by Thiel or Musk or whatever entity made that shill sub to turn /r/JoeRogan into another shill sub full of bots.
r/joerogan was full of OG fans before he flipped to being a conservative tool. So people were rightfully calling him out for the longest time until people just started to move on. I say that as someone who listened in early days and had great fun with the stoner community just being curious about life.
Exactly, and it was clear the powerfuljre subreddit was all bots and shills. I think no one is actually listening anymore. Spotify always tries to auto play it when I leave a podcast on and fall asleep I think those numbers are being padded because they paid him all that money. I think a good chunk of his OG audience hates the chud heel turn, and I legit don't think he's actually as popular now as he's made out to be. He tried to boost some chud comedian's special recently and it got like 20,000 views.
Man, I genuinely miss the first few years. There were just so many interesting people on, great conversations, and without any nazis, it was wonderful 😭

When I first discovered that sub, I was a JR fan, and assumed everyone else there would be fans too but all I saw were trolls mocking him with every post & every comment 🤷🏼♀️ So I left.
