I know this parallel grows old but consider the followers of nazi Germany. They ran after Germany First, country prude, nationalism, etc. Were they all bad people knowingly making bad choices? Were they brainwashed or lulled into a false belief that, even if they could recognize their own cognitive dissonance, they were in too deep to turn back now?

I am sorry but something is really wrong with people who like Trump, like seriously wrong. Will never view any of them the same ever again, I used to at least give them some benefit of the doubt. We are way past that though.
What does it take? In 2015 it took me all of 10 mins of listening to Trump to realize he is a liar and a cheat. If you can't see that by now even, more than a decade later, something is actually most definitely wrong with you, and not saying it lightly. People need to detox from social media or disconnect from their phones or something, otherwise I dont see how you get this brainwashed. How do people make it through the day with this level of brain power?
Trump is an evil narcissist, but I don't fault the working class for leaving the democrats and voting for him. He was promising them (falsely) progressive ideas, like bringing jobs back, fixing the healthcare system. Of course he doesn't really care about that or will do it, but he was the only one talking about it. It always boils down to the economy though, and Biden's economy was horrendous, people, the working class were hurting and all Kamala gave us were platitudes, no substance, no solutions to what mattered to them.
If you thought Biden's economy was horrendous, what the actual fuck do you call this economy?

I somehow feel like a Christian American Trump supporting woman would not be welcomed back into the Muslim world with open arms. I'm sure her fate wouldn't be the same in every country but "good" would not describe her future.
The word "evil" is meaningless. Cultures act and react based on their own rules. Honor killing exists. Stoning exists. Domestic slavery exists. If that's how they want to live, have fun. But don't pretend the Muslim world does not include these cultural practices.
