Yes. I also blogged about it here :https://dbzer0.com/blog/this-blog-is-now-federated-natively-to-lemmy/

If your blog is WordPress, you can set it up directly to be a lemmy community itself. Then comments on Lemmy will appear as comments on your blog

If that's the reason, one can blur out the links and shit. But this is fairly obvious, and also it's all over lemmy constantly giving free advertisement to the spammer

Seriously, I'm starting to think all these accounts who keep reposting the spammers message as "look it happened to me too" are also part of the spam campaign.

Seriously, y'all need to stop doing the spammers work for them by reposting it

I suspect they're being strong armed to follow the reddit instructions. Since these are bootlicking mods that stayed on reddit after the blackouts, it makes sense they would capitulate.

I didn't work an lw admin. I built this one my own (well as part of Haidra)

As a result, our instance https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/ got 625 new user registrations (of which 536 where accepted) in the past 24 hours! And the registrations are not abating even now. We still get like 10 new ones per hour!

I suspect this is probably the largest advertisement, for lemmy specifically, since the main reddit blackouts 1.5 years ago.

Have your own instances also seen an influx of new users?

It is with great sadness that i write this. however The Admin team has parted ways. I have closed registrations, and disabled the option to create new communities. The server will be ran until the payments dry up (about ~1-2 months). We have tried to build a community for autistic people online. It ended up not working for which we apologize. Please do not go after the other team members. Some disappeared, some went their ways, but whatever the reason i wish them the best. If you have any questions, leave them here and i will try to answer them.
