The way the speech bubble is cut off, it seems like it’s supposed to be that the comment above becomes the speech bubble. It’s some nerdy-looking guy playing chess and saying that comment so it’s supposed to look like a profound strategic reply.

I guess that’s what it means? I have no fucking clue, but that’s what I came up with for a theory.

For sure. In my mind, I was considering position as part of the “privilege” aspect or status.

Plenty of white people still get fucked for disobeying laws. It’s more so privilege and/or status/wealth.

Probably something from The Flintstones.

In my 40s. I partake in alcohol here and there.

A CBD/THC gummy is not only good for relaxation, but I’ve found that it helps with runny nose issues when I’m sick and stops the mucus drainage because it dries me up.

In general though, weed is great in an edible form. I don’t smoke it.

I see what’s going on here…

So sorry to interruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupt!

There’s a larger portion of migrants from Mexico and South America, in general, so Nevada (the west coast really) has a ton more authentic selections.

There are some good places here, but it’s also sporadic whereas the west coast it’s all over the place!

…gun wielding furries who serve their local communities and grant miracles to the needy?

Yeah, I can’t tell if this is all legit or if Gen Z is sooooooooo vocal and online that they are just expressing what it’s like to get older and see how the world/relationships really work and so many are just bombarded with negativity that they then feel negative.

I’m in my 40s (Millennial) and have social media, but I still manage to meet up with the few friends I have and muster up energy to cook, walk the dog, and clean house. I can unplug and not feel guilty and maybe that is what my difference is?

Gaming Laptop Recs? (lemmy.world)
submitted 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) by WindyRebel@lemmy.world to c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

Hi all, my son is 11 and a gamer. He does a lot of Roblox (yeah, I know) but also has gaming interests outside of Roblox. He is getting into more robust games. He also likes to record and make YouTube videos of his gaming.

He had a Razer Blade 15 and it crapped out after a year (RMA says motherboard). I had the extended warranty and they are giving me a cash settlement (check) for what I paid for the computer because Razer apparently said they cannot replace the part as it’s not available anymore.

So, did I just have bad luck with the Blade and should I go for another in the Blade series OR go with a different gaming laptop replacement?

I’m researching on my own, but also looking for recommendations from people that have knowledge in this area.

Thank you!

Edit 1: Yes, it should be a laptop. My child likes to switch environments and space is also an issue. Eventually we will consider a desktop, but I am looking for laptop suggestions.

I used to see him all over the place and now nothing. I checked his post history and it’s been 24 days since he last posted anything.

I don’t know the guy or have any personal stake, but seeing someone everywhere just suddenly disappear is odd.
