Now that you mention it, there are a couple of us posting regularly on !bmoviebonanza@lemmy.world and !fullmoviesonyoutube@lemm.ee and I sometimes post to !martialartsmovies@lemm.ee , !badmovies@lemmy.world , and !cultfilms@lemux.minnix.dev. If you add them all together you have a pretty vibrant community.

Maybe we should do that thing where we link to each other's communities in the sidebar, like a "movie ring" or something?

Hey! Does that mean you're ... marking cards?!?

[–] Sergio@slrpnk.net 19 points 4 days ago

agreed. at most it belongs on !fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com so we can consider how we can use it to advertise lemmy to disenchanted r$dditors.

Trump supporters feel insecure about the world. By bullying someone, they feel better.

That's why they never turn against Trump when the policies inevitably backfire. It just makes them feel more insecure, and therefore even better about bullying someone. And there are plenty of us to bully.

whatever was between Digg and usenet

for me, it was a mix of Slashdot and a bunch of discussion boards.

Looks like Pixelfed's growth spurt is slowing down. Absent any new external stimuli I'm guessing it'll stabilize around 200K to 300K monthly active users -- over a hundredfold order of magnitude from what it was just a month ago.
