I read a ~~great thread on Bluesky earlier~~ detailing how many times Kash Patel may have completely botched this case by all the stupid things he's said on FOX today. Definitely worth a read!

*Edit #2: it was pointed out in the comment below that many folks in the thread I linked are calling into question the OOP's claims and professional background. After a brief view myself, there is at least one person within those comments whom I do believe when they say its "full of errors"
I'm leaving my original comment up for now for posterity sake, but I am more than willing to remove it if that would be more appropriate.
It appears there are replies to this thread that call into question many of the things stated
it reeks of punditry - surface level knowledge and worst case scenarios presented with lots of confidence. fwiw the persons quoted qualifications have absolutely nothing to do with law. They are a “blockchain” and data science person who also does venture capital and angel investing, aka a classic “I don’t know when to stay in my fucking lane and think that because I made a shitload of money I must be a genius at everything ever” type

Is there any way I can extract all this out into text? I’m having a hard time following each of the posts. They keep hiding behind replies.
Maybe it’s intentional so they let one of their own go.
Can't remember if it was part of that thread, or a comment on it... but there was a suggestion that they likely don't care about the case itself, rather they're more concerned about crafting and maintaining the narrative. Based on how this week has played out, I can't say that I'd disagree

Patel, speaking to Fox & Friends on Monday, said the FBI had "forensic evidence" of the note, but that it had "since been destroyed."
So there was no note
"It was kept in the home of the suspect and his alleged transgender partner,"
Why keep mentioning the transgender thing from just an allegation about someone who had nothing to do with this? These fuckers know exactly what the fuck they're doing.
Judge: “Mr. Patel, what is your evidence that the accused committed this crime?”
Kash Patel: “Your Honor, it came to me in a dream.”
Judge: “Good enough for me. Guilty!”

We found a note where he said he did this in honor of his black transgender immigrant girlfriend named Marxina McWoke. But the dog ate it.

In their defense, Charlie Kirk picked a bad time to be assassinated. It's luau week the FBI, and things can get very messy and flamey at the office.
How convenient for them.
When I first read about this, I understood that the assassin had destroyed the note, perhaps burned it or ripped it up, and that the FBI somehow put it back together or found the traces of ink on a burned note. Am I wrong?
Well if they had done that they could say they had done that. But the more likely hypothesis given who we're dealing with here is that it's bullshit and there was no letter.

I mean, what the hell is this even supposed to mean? The rest of the article is just heresy about “leftist ideology”. They quote the family as stating that he was leftist, but theres zero detail as to how. You’d think if the kid was truly leftist and we had “forensic evidence” of a note, we’d at least have a direct quote?
What evidence? How was the note destroyed? In what manner? Was any of it recoverable at all? What specific leftist ideologies did he subscribe to? What specifically did he not like about Kirk’s politics?
Given the progress of the investigation, and the current “evidence” presented, I am just not confident we will get answers to these questions.
The note says that Biden personally asked him to do it. But it’s magically disappeared. There is not note. Stop asking about the note.

It it just me or is there a rather important "Kash Patel says" missing from the headline?
And this right-wing policy of finding someone trans to mention in every report of a shooting, no matter how tangential or irrelevant their transness may be, just so the public can make a good solid mental association between trans people and dangerous violence, is absolutely disgusting.

“Forensic evidence.” So, like, bro said “he totes wrote a note” and then someone uses science to say “there was paper over here; must be where the note went!” Is this the kind of Keystone cops bullshit we’re being asked to believe?
If there's evidence, then it should be producible. A notepad with the imprint of the removed page. A hard drive with the deleted and recovered data. You don't get to hide behind the term 'forensic', saying 'trust us bro'.
So what kind of forensic evidence? Show it.

We don't know because they haven't done the proper investigation and they're just leaking crap left and right just fueling speculation and conspiracy theories that leads the right to continue to call for violence.

Release the Epstein files.
Even if the note ever existed, I doubt the FBI's ability (or the current administration's desire) to recognize the inherent underlying irony of many groyper tropes. I especially doubt the FBI's competency after their "mistaking" a common ammo manufacturer's mark as a leftist commentary.
Sounds like "Promises Made, Promises Kept". I say let him run for office.
