Amélie Poulain
That movie still gives me the feels. At the end when they’re riding the scooter and make the funny faces at the camera. It’s perfect, and she was amazing in that role.
The soundtrack is still one of my favorites. I loved early Jean-Pierre Jeunet films like Delicatessen and City of Lost Children, so I was skeptical of the film at first because it seemed so normal in comparison. Turned out to be his best film by far.
it's a great movie to indulge in the language. they speak really well and watching it a bunch I can hear the individual words.
As a kid, Lola Bunny and Gadget from Rescue Rangers.
I don't know if anyone's really done that for me in adulthood
Gadget, god damn. That's one of the earliest crushes I can remember.
Lola Bunny I can see it too, although I never had a crush on her.
Oof. Gadget. Totally.
Sometimes, some crimes…go slipping through the cracks, but these two, gumshoes….
Raven from OG Teen Titans had curves in all the right places, too.
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. One of the OG big tiddy goth girlfriends.
I never liked the hair. Apart from that though, yeah.
I feel like the hair was supposed to be somewhere in the middle of a venn diagram of Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and the Bride of Frankenstein.
Low key amazing woman.
TBH I adore Cassandra Peterson IRL too. She's as witty and sassy as her character, seems to be a genuinely good person, and is still an absolute smokeshow in her 70s. Also she's a ginger IRL, which is almost as hot as goth.
Good lord, where to start.
Tuxedo Kamen was a big one when I was around 13.
Several David Tennant characters, such as of course and predictably the 10th Doctor - this might just be the mandatory DT crush.
The 13th Doctor - an outlier, still on-going.
Vegeta. Which is weird because I usually like my men very tall. The Vegeta/Bulma ship was stronger than the crush.
Sam Winchester (tall). I'm so glad my Supernatural phase has ended, let me tell you.
These days I'm crushing a bit on Johnny Silverhand.
When I was very young, Tails gave me verrrry confusing feelings. I just wanted to… hold his hand or something. Then both Robinhood and Maid Marian, very owo.
When I was a teen, Fox and Krystal from Starfox and Renamon. Then Kyubi from Yo-Kai Watch (we’re gonna pretend he doesn’t have a human form and is an adult.)
I’m old now and I stand by all of those choices.
It's always interesting to hear what animated character was somebody else's furry awakening. For me it was Krystal also, but every time I meet a furry younger than myself, I can see clear distinction between what age group they belong to and which anthropomorphic character they were sexually attracted to as a kid, lol.
Leela from Futurama
Zuko from Avatar. Just.... jet fuel for teenage me.
Alucard set the bar but Karlach got me thinking :D
I thought Gidget was cute, back when I was like 12..
Lip from Shameless
Prince Jasmine instilled a love for strong willed women with dark hair in me as a young lad
I can't remember any of the recent ones but no one forgets its first one.
Single digit old me watching cartoons in the eighties was in awe with Firestar.
The opossum from Over The Hedge
i don't remember
At the moment it's Zani
She's tired and overworked, but she cares about doing something and doing it right. Plus she has a super hot "Italian-ish" accent lol
Micky Dolenz from the Monkees.
TV/movie: Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell, especially from the SAC.)
Video games: Nicole Collard (Broken Sword series)
Any Molly Ringwald character, but Pretty in Pink was the GOAT role.
I don't think I ever did. Almost all the male characters were made to appeal to straight men and the gay ones reek of stereotypes.
Maybe Alistar from Dragon Age but he was perfectly bland and kinda boring.
I had a huge crush on Daniel Radcliffe but thought Harry Potter was dumb as rocks.
Both Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham from RE4. It's how I figured out I am pansexual.
This was my first
then the girl from Monsters Vs Aliens.
one night I was in a discord call with some friends and they were playing smash or pass and APPARENTLY everyone else got turned on by the monsters or aliens and IM the weird one for not being into that??
When I was surprised they made me take the BDSM test and I got 97% vanilla and 50% submissive. in retrospect this probably ties into my next point...
I did not have a 'crush' for YEARS after that, IRL or in media. I still don't think I feel it in the same way others do. I guess I would want to live in the same household with someone cute, but like that's a far cry from what other people describe it as and I would much prefer to be the cute one.
I cannot comprehend the concept of being horny and taking it out on others against their consent.
Even if I were in a relationship I don't think I would want to. Going to the bathroom for 15m would be easier than having to bother someone else, no?
Literally last week my bloodwork results came back in and I like 1/2 the hormonal levels you're supposed to have.
AND I'm on antidepressants that lower my labido so I'm like borderline involuntarily asexual because I just have a really low sex drive.
I mean, discord is full of disgusting deviants, I'm not surprised.
You sound asexual. That's fine.
Why did you bring rape up? Seems strange. People can be horny without wanting to rape someone. Being in a relationship has never made me think it was more okay to rape my partner. That's fucked up. I'm gonna chalk up that line of thinking to being unfamiliar with how normal people experience horniness.
I don't think anyone can be voluntarily or involuntarily asexual. It's just kind of an intrinsic trait of your personality. It's like saying you involuntarily have brown hair.
Amicus and Neferu.
Echo is sooooo good
