That's not true. They also do it to punish free speech and to intimidate others into remaining silent.
We can't give everyone a trial, huh? Alright, well, you first, Donald. I declare you guilty of treason; will it be the wall, or the platform?
The wall might be more satisfying, but the platform would serve as a better message. Assuming you don't clean up quickly.

Maybe the Americans can finally dispense with the facade of legitimacy they have granted this fascist for far too long and remove him from the Oval Office.
Or they can remain the laughingstock of the world as the media continues to sanewash his legitimate brainrot.
The funny part about Trump mentioning the great Alito, is that while Alito dissented, at the very end of his 5 page write up, he re-affirms that the executive must comply with the supreme court decision.
I'm betting there's going to be a president-shaped omission in the list of criminals that he's removing though.
I wish that man would go ahead and croak already. He makes me ashamed to be human.
My favourite part is that he didn't lie to get into office. It was very clear he wanted to fuck up the non-cishet-white American populus and damage the "homegrowns" in the act, and that's what the people wanted.
I mean he's right. He is doing what he was elected to do.
