Now that the Liberals are realigned with the political Centre, it's back to more tame jokes as usual.

Definitely beats throwing minorities under the bus like the Americans

Yep, which is why every time someone makes a joke out of climate change just because they have one cold day in June, it makes me want to shove them into a fridge.

The privilege is deafening.

Everybody says this, but I keep seeing mm/dd/yyyy from north American sources, and dd/mm/yyyy from pretty much everywhere else.

Why are we stupid

If it helps, he became a Facebook exec after losing his seat in the British Parliament.

A good example of the revolving door, but at least it wasn't the other way around...

Good article that clearly outlines how Israel has exploited the steadfast support of allies like Canada to commit crimes against humanity.

Even Holocaust survivors don't get a blank cheque from the international community to commit crimes with impunity.

And before supporters whine about human shields and existential threats, the article outlines how there are many examples of abuses from the IDF. The problem isn't just that these abuses were committed, but the defensive rationalization being provided by the Israeli government to excuse these actions and attitudes, thereby ensuring they will continue to happen under the guise of self defense.

Their half assed religion is yet another extension of their privilege and arrogance, and yet another reason why I would happily donate to whoever razes their way of life to the ground.

Maybe the Americans can finally dispense with the facade of legitimacy they have granted this fascist for far too long and remove him from the Oval Office.

Or they can remain the laughingstock of the world as the media continues to sanewash his legitimate brainrot.

Yea this question is impossible to ask for an objective answer without confirmation bias of any sort during this time.

The report that OP is probably referencing is obviously false, or else it wouldn't be newsworthy (just like everything this man has ever said)

Great, now they simply have to claim their shipments came from Russia and they'll be exempt.

Hope you know Russian!

But then the government would be forced to backtrack on the multi billion dollar investment it made in big auto companies to keep manufacturing jobs from flocking to the US (nationalizing would cause us to compete with them and undermine the support provided).

I still think this choice was a mistake, but voters gonna voter on single issue politics.
