... because the UN has very little power as a whole.
Meaning it'd be very ineffective at governing a nation particularly one with extreme special interests and extreme ethnic tension.
My point is only that Israel does not have much influence over the UN.
Except as I mentioned they have so much power as to make the rest of the UN basically inconsequential.
