Good thing Lemmy is safe since .ml folks agree with MAGA on lots of things. ๐ŸŒ

[โ€“] ddplf@szmer.info 30 points 8 hours ago (2 children)

As long as they're to Kremlin's interest - oh yes, yes they do

Which is basically all of them, we may as well start calling them MLAGA

[โ€“] DarkCloud@lemmy.world 10 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Also we're smarter than Reddit.

...like, did you know Kremlin, is very close to the word Gremlin? How about that.

Shut up and show me your beans

Bound to happen by being anti empire of all flavors

[โ€“] abbadon420@lemm.ee 8 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Also, we're actual intellectuals, obviously. Contrary to those reddit wannabes

[โ€“] remotelove@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 hours ago

So I'm the smart now?

[โ€“] takeda@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 8 hours ago

Yeah it never was about ideology, it was always about supporting USSR and now Russia. This is why they nearly indistinguishible from each other despite supposedly being on the opposite side of the spectrum.

[โ€“] SalamenceFury@lemmy.world 6 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Good thing we can just block instances/communities so we don't need to ever listen to their bullshit drivel.

[โ€“] cm0002@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Too bad block doesn't mean block to the devs LMAO

[โ€“] entwine413@lemm.ee 2 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Exactly. I've blocked hexbear, but I can still see their responses to my comments.

[โ€“] cm0002@lemmy.world 4 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Even on an individual level, like what is the point of blocking someone if they can still fully interact with your posts and comments, just you can't see it.

That's a mute, when Xitter tried (or did? Idr) to downgrade their actual block to essentially the same thing that Lemmy has now it was met with outrage.

Proper blocking should be a core feature of any social media, it's not a 'nice to have' feature that can be developed when there's time for it

[โ€“] jumping_redditor@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

because preventing others from "interacting" with an account relies on their instance respecting yours.

[โ€“] cm0002@lemmy.world 0 points 1 hour ago

That's not really an excuse to half ass it, there's lots of things a rouge instance could do and that's one of many reasons defederation is a thing

[โ€“] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 2 points 5 hours ago

Understand that!

Me personally -
