If one was inclined to fix this epidemic it wouldn’t be by just denying care it would be about educating people, including with free cooking classes, making sure good, healthy foods are plentiful and affordable, it would be about making sure third spaces exist to help people get out of their homes and into their communities to be active and build stronger support systems, it would be about providing medical mentoring and preventive care for free or ultra low cost.
