My dog did the same, so I just taught him to bring me my socks in the morning. Either yesterdays socks lying on the floor or I'll toss a new pair on the floor for him. When he gets excited for walks he'll bring me socks. When I come home he brings me socks. When I take my socks off because it's hot, he'll bring them back.. but at least he doesn't chew them anymore. And he loves the little chore.

About six days while hiking a part of the appalachian trail and camping.
We have the reverse. My boyfriend can clean the whole apartment and still leave it looking messy, whereas I only clean when absolutely necessary, but will keep stuff tidy.
With my parents, I see that they try to be equal in the work, but my dad rarely comes up with stuff to do on his own, so my mom always has to ask for every chore. He came from a "traditional roles" family, so probably suffering the after effects from that.
I'm dealing with the worst stomach flu of my life and I have a 10 hour train ride in a few hours. Wish me luck!
Will the height be adjustable? Otherwise the sitting thing will be either way to low or poking the backs of most people.
Our local library has a table with young plants for exchange. I love it!
I used to feel bad about reaching milestones and "succeeding at life" because I was mourning a friend who could not reach those milestones with me. Therapy helped a lot.
It might be hard for them to find someone who is both fluent in english AND knows the field well enough to know vegetative electron microscopy is not a thing. Most universities have one general translation help service and science has a lot of field-specific weird terms.
If you account for check in/boarding times at the airport times are not so different either. However, one datapoint does not give a good overview of the situation and I found with most of my travel plans trains were more expensive than planes for the same routes within europe.
Agreed! I'm finishing my one-and-only phd at the moment (hopefully) and feel completely done with academics.
How is that possible?? And why would anyone do two phds? I thought that was just a hollywood trope.
A spanish waterdog, with a mix of herding/hunting/working instincts. I'm pretty sure the only emotions that influence his behavior are his own. So I get more socks when he is either anxious or excited.
