The principle of least action - one of my favourites

This meme shows a complete misunderstanding of patent law. A patent is a social contract that allows for a limited amount of protection for an invention being copied (usually 20 years) in exchange for it becoming public domain after that. This enables people to make a living inventing things. Are games played with the system, sure, does it work perfectly- no, but it’s better than the alternatives. (Source, am inventor)

It’s fun so far

If you have problems fitting one just go to a shop. It’ll cost you a few pounds more but no bubbles or dust. Beats a scratched screen

Garbage In, Garbage Out. Not enough info, so can’t provide meaningful response, I guess, in this case. That said - I wouldn’t be happy, done know why they would be.

And you’re explaining this in your second language? No, you’re not a failure - sounds like you’ve achieved a lot and have huge potential as well

I don’t think you know what fascism is? Liberal, capitalist, sure, pro Trump? Definitely not, pro fascism? definitely not…. That’s even true for the very woolly definition of fascism as most people use it today

Sure, but that’s not the case in the US

Democracy is a sliding scale and the US is still on it. Could the people choose something different without resorting to violent revolution and protest? Yes

For me it comes down to “do I want pay for this product so it sticks around?”. If yes then I have to trust the org that makes it to be reasonably sensible. They’re probably going to do a better job of putting the money in the right place to stay in business than I am.
