My field is dominated by women but we have a few men. People are often escalated when they see me—I come in to cool things down and give strategies. Consistently, the people who pout, threaten, mutter under their breath, and act like they want to hit me are not the women. I’m sure it’s due to the lack of emotions.

For me, working in human services does the trick. Over the summer I take a vacation to heal body/mind, and swap to spending more time on MMOs, a Mud, and making sure I go “out” somewhere at least once a day. Even just to the library.
Great question. Tried the paid thing (38f). Lots of decent (superficially) matches, none of whom shared my values or interest. It was a huge waste of money across apps.
