to save you a click, they found an ecosystem where they didn't really expect to see one but it's not a great big novelty, just the normal sort of "never seen that species before" kind of novelty that comes with nearly every trip below the waves.
Yeah, I was wondering what about a tentacled animal would be so exciting, given that there are so many other tentacled animals out there already...

If by MAPS you mean 'mind-altering-psychoactive-substance' no. Just regular hypnotherapy. With scripts and calm music and all.
I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD prior to it, so I sort of chalk it up to my wild as shit imagination doing crazy stuff with the prompts. I was probably 14 at the time?
It's also only happened once, was pretty damn vivid, but more fascinating than creepy.
