The people who would be enraged by this information do not care. They’ve already decided who has to pay.

It's too late. I've been watching my MAGA relative's deranged Facebook screeching about the radical leftist democrat shooter for two days straight. Redactions are fake news to them.

Let me fix that for you:

~~Reactions~~ Anything that doesn't align with their feelings is fake news to them.

You could publish two contradictory statements at the same time, and they would cherry-pick the one they agree with while dismissing the one they don't as fake or liberal propaganda.

It's called confirmation bias and is sadly super-charged by social media engagement algorithms.

Yeah but see "commondreams" already knows this and people who read that know this - if this story isn't on FoxNews, it's just wankery.

Corporate News Sewers are completely in the tank for fascists, full stop. (I know - you already know that)

You all know the most proximal and immediate reason why they did it, right?

They... were afraid.

Remember the whole... Epstein birthday card thing?

That story they broke?

And then Trump sued them for $10 gorillionbabillion dollars?

Yeah, yeah, this is what trying to get back in Trump's good graces looks like.

An orgasm of fear and violence, and hatred.

What kind of idiot agent thinks the manufacturing stamp on a commons brand of ammunition is a trans thing stamped on by the shooter? Lol

Cops, and lying cops

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 5 points 4 days ago

Is it really "backlash" if their vicious hate of LGBTQ+ (and especially transgender) people led to the shooting in the first place?

A deliberate error.

Honestly, they were running with information from federal law enforcement so I don't blame them completely here and I find that the criticism really belongs to the completely inept, partisan, gutted feds.

Nah. As the saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 872 times, shame on me."
