Less guesswork. Of course it’s not going to be complete. But it’s nice.

Hey look, a functional purpose.
It really depends. World is friends with pretty much everyone with a few notable exceptions. There are definitely instances that care about that, but you can’t force an isolationist instance to communicate with you.
Freedom goes both ways. It also means freedom to form a bubble.
Same here. No reason. No response. Fuck those guys. And fuck Spez.
It depends on what it means to you. It's a really old franchise, and it's possible to be a fan of almost anything.
I’ve had fantasies of becoming a bus driver.
Three of our best senior engineers eventually decided to become farmers. One “retired” to be a personal chef.
I’m just saying.
There is a disgusting underside that I don’t want to get into. Let’s just say that Reddit clearly doesn’t care that much about policing content. It’s only this topic in particular that they cannot condone. Criticizing billionaires is where they draw the line.
It disgusts me.
We definitely have our own bots and spam problems. Instance admins work diligently to keep the situation under control, and so far, they’ve been pretty successful. I’ve seen a few waves of it in my almost 2 years here.

I came here with the API changes, but I knew there would be future waves. It’s so nice. I believe in Lemmy and the promise of federated media to help technology work for humans.
It’s the way of business these days. They got their money. The ship can sink now. The users suffer.
Definitely do not buy Shark products. They used to be good, but maintaining any of their stuff now feels like it was intentionally designed to rip you off.
I have their old vacuum cleaner that I’ve repaired five times and I’m never getting rid of it.
