Let me fix that for you:

~~Reactions~~ Anything that doesn't align with their feelings is fake news to them.

You could publish two contradictory statements at the same time, and they would cherry-pick the one they agree with while dismissing the one they don't as fake or liberal propaganda.

It's called confirmation bias and is sadly super-charged by social media engagement algorithms.
