So I was wondering how you’ll make a killer mimosa without OJ because, as you know it, there’s no orange that grow in Canada. So options everyone ? I was thinking argousier juice maybe

Some recommend the following 3 alternative mimosa formulations: cranberry, peach, or strawberry

Sidenote, but is there any citrus that grows in Canada? Would love a pointer if anybody knows.

I've heard that Meyer lemons are relatively easy to keep as indoor potted plants.

Yuzu will grow in Canada. And now I'll have to try it in a mimosa next weekend lol

They're fairly complicated to grow properly, but you can grow citrus trees using hydroponics.

To add to others, yeah there's people researching it in BC apparently.

Funny, was thinking about this very thing this weekend. Was wondering what apple cider and sparking wine (from Canada of course) would taste like.

Apparently already a thing. https://www.wellplated.com/apple-cider-champagne-cocktail-recipe/

See, apple cider is a nice substitute, but I personally like cranberry juice 😘🤌
