Yeah I like techno/dance/house sort of music while doing house tasks.

High energy beats, anything you like that has high tempo will do, from the ride of the Valkiries to La gasolina from Pitbull, anything high energy will get you heart pumping to get things done.

I love listening to Big Band Jazz. Specifically I put this on whenever I do chores - https://www.aor.am/

First song in my "morning" playlist
Zebda - Tomber la chemise

Don't jump too hard, mind your joints

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 3 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

That’s a great song for my students! I teach German, not French, but a LOT of my students have trouble distinguishing between the following (emboldened) vowels: tomber la chemise. This makes the difference between them really clear and will probably help sensitize them to the vowels :)

Also it’s fun to listen to.

Not too familiar with german... and definitely did not expect that a french song could prove useful for students of german ! nice

I really like these dj sets by mayv for whenever I need to focus on something, they're rhythmic, dancy, but still chill. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKz7MQ6y9w-K456AwrcUa_geIewSGOqF-

Jock Jams 47 is the only correct answer here.

[–] triptrapper@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago

I like stuff with a bumping beat and no words. K-Lone and Facta are some UK producers whose music I just play over and over when I need to focus.

[–] sfxrlz@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 11 hours ago

That depends on your mood, but if you are in the right mood, some eurodance, EDM, or trance can speed up the cleaning
