I think in many countries it's "No Tyrants". That's definitely the label used for the protest in Toronto.

But, the US has a really weird idea of what a "King" is. The English king hasn't had absolute power since even before the Magna Carta was signed in 1215. The US concept of what a king actually is or does is just as muddled as the US view of universal healthcare, public transit, socialism, and so-on.
Actually saw some people on a bridge on the commute home waving signs for this, kind of surprised on our smaller area

What do the stars mean?
I was thinking major cities, but I came up with Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, Houston and... El Paso?
I had the same thought! It's Phoenix though. The site has a few more starred, like Philly and Charlotte. I wonder if stars are based on signups, and places like LA have a different major protest planned.
That was my first thought, but Seattle and LA aren't "starred".
