Somehow I don't think the people who voted for a felon rapist traitor conman are going to care if he fucked some kids.

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 45 points 1 day ago (6 children)

Oh I've heard LOTS of conservatives beg for the files. I was like "you know it won't end well for you right"

I intend to remind them

[–] Kekzkrieger@feddit.org 26 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Still wont get released like ever. And even if, they wont believe it.

its either planted for them, or fake news, or he was thinking she was 18 or whatever. Nothing can change their mind because they lost their ability to think

[–] Ledericas@lemm.ee 5 points 1 day ago

too many other powerful people all over the world are involved.

well Clinton’s on there too

GOOD. If he is, he should get nailed for it. I’m not a fucking Clinton fanboi.

[–] LadyMeow@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 day ago

“Well I mean, look where she was? On Epstein private island? Basically asking for it”

Ick. I would expect something like that from that crowd. Some excuse to make it ‘ok’

Vomit

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

They'll make excuses, like they always do.

If you took a time machine back 15 years and explained to them that they'd be making excuses for felons, rapists and people running plays from the Nazi playbook, they'd refuse to believe you. But here we are. Running interference for kiddy diddlers is the next logical step in their devolution.

Conservatives cannot be trusted with power.

[–] Ledericas@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago

they are willing to ignore the trump ones, who is the most prolific visitor of epstein island.

Man, this is great.

I knew they'd fall out eventually, because they're all so inherently unlikeable, but this one's gonna be a doozy.

And I'm going to be here cheering it on like a playground fight.

I thought we knew that already, given their close history.

Anyone not willingly plugging their ears knows this.

THIS ISN'T NEWS.

We knew this 6 months ago. John fucking Oliver did a piece of this. Woo.

Now, the DEPTH of involvement is so far just speculation and opinions from trending.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah, but this is about who's saying it. Dude's rallying up his minions, which means Elon is declaring war, and I personally can't stop laughing at all this.

[–] JustAnotherPodunk@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (6 children)

The funny thing about Elon going to war, is that Elon will lose. Fantastically so. The ketamine must still be flowing hard. 5 years ago Trump's base hated his cars. It's only when Elon hitched his cart to maga that they started to like him. An unsold cyber trucks are in mall parking lots and his stocks globally are tanking.

So, now Tesla's stock is in the shitter. Liberals hate him and don't want his cars. And now the GOP will flip on him and also not buy his cars. He's also now going to wreck his government contracts with SpaceX. Mars will never happen for him. And now Twitter will take an even bigger hit. Those ai protections can be drafted to exclude him and his companies too.

He will absolutely damage trump and split a few people off, but he was in a losing position to begin with. Even with damning evidence and the persuasive media skills and charisma of a much more talented individual, he is so fucking cooked. Without that... Well, now there is only one psychopathic narcissist in the leadership role. So that's nice.

I’m ok with famous people reiterating it as often as they like, honestly

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 18 hours ago)

I've known for about half a decade that he was deeply involved thanks to the brother of Jeffery Epstein who testified in court that Trump had been to the island on many occasions.

Trump was talking well over a decade ago about his good friend Epstein and how young he liked his girls.

[–] GoobyMcMooby@lemmy.zip 33 points 1 day ago

Duh. So is Musk. Those were some expensive karate lessons Ghislaine hooked him up with. No matter. Continue to eat one another. Then enter a permanent K Hole.

[–] Anonymaus@feddit.org 27 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Despite that trump is a known pedophile americans still voted for him, how stupid do you have to do that

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

All they needed to hear was that the opponent was a black woman and they lined up down the block to vote for a rapist, murdering fascist.

The United States is all about being the biggest: biggest cars, biggest wealth, biggest waistline, and biggest stupid.

[–] dubyakay@lemmy.ca 4 points 10 hours ago

Biggest pedo.

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 4 points 10 hours ago

The GOP has no problem with child rape, as long as it’s older guy on younger girl, and if the younger girl has parents that matter, you need to marry her first.

[–] CidVicious@sh.itjust.works 26 points 1 day ago (4 children)

One wonders if musk actually has any special information about this, and if so, how he got said information.

[–] Alaik@lemmy.zip 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not like he had a bunch of unsecured illegal access to almost all of our institutions.

[–] CidVicious@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

Right? Accessing non-public information related to legal proceedings could very well be breaking the law. This is the sort of thing that could be actionable, in criminal or civil court.

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (2 children)

You're joking right?

Yes he's been blatantly breaking numerous laws since day 1

[–] CidVicious@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago

And now he's pissing off someone who has shown full willingness to weaponize the Justice department.

But I also brought up civil court for a reason. Trump doesn't really have direct leverage there and the discovery process could be very interesting in a case like that. A victim involved in the Epstein case may very well have standing to bring a civil suit if Musk is making information that's harmful to them public.

this is actually good, not just drama.

Musk is basically Trump's publicist. without him, a lot of Trump propaganda machinery is gone.

Prove it then, coward

[–] LaterRedditor@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (2 children)

He always defaults to calling people pedophiles. Sounds like NPC dialogue?

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

In this case he is probably right. But he is probably also on the same list.

"Trump was on Epstein's island! I shook hands with him there!"

This trump vs elon narrative feels performative. Call me a cynic, but I feel like a narrative is being pushed to try and win back good will for elon.

This gonna be a hot mess bitch break up and I’m fully onboard for it.

[–] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

As much as I believe that Trump is in the Epstein files, I don't believe Musk has any info about this. Remember this is the same guy that called the person trying to rescue those kids in a cave a pedophile with zero evidence. Musk can not be trusted, even is it's something you want to believe.

[–] otp@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 day ago (5 children)

Isn't Elon Musk also a pedo?

[–] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

It wouldn't surprise me, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that.

"Epstein knew lots of people. What about Biden?"

I can just imagine the Fox News comments now.

[–] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The difference is Biden doesn't have a cult. Go ahead and lock him up. Granted with his cancer and age there isn't much point in doing it.

Show the proof Elon! Your DOGE had access to just about everything, now we need to see what you found.
