First xmanager went away and I was devastated

Now revanced Spotify doesn't seem to work and I feel defeated.

I feel the cat and mouse game with spotify has caught up and I should just ditch Spotify altogether. Do you guys have any solutions?

For desktop I've been getting playlists I like from the web Spotify UI, then using spotdl to download them.

On mobile I've been trying out Kreate (YouTube Music frontend) and so far it's not bad. It doesn't have a real algorithm but I tend to browse by genre until I land on a playlist, or go to a song I feel like and hit Song Radio. UI is still a bit clunky in my opinion but it has worked so far for me otherwise.

Didn't spotdl cease to work a long time ago? Maybe I'm confusing it, I used to use some AUR package which I thought was called that, then the API thing happened and it ceased to function so I gave up on it.

I use arch BTW.
