What's a "Sears?"
Department store. They had a shopping catalogue and sometimes that was all a man had access to in the before-times.
I'm aware, as a child of the 80's. Just being stoopid.
Sears catalog was basically Amazon back in the day.
Sold houses at one point
Couldn't beat their prices on submachine guns either.

Wow I have zero idea they did that too. Wild.
In my home town the older kids had a hang out in the woods. Dirty mags everywhere. No idea where they got them. But my friends and I made sure to sneak some when we got the chance
Small woods and back alleys used to be where porn magazines were past on to the next generation.
