The National Institutes of Health employee said she knew things would be difficult for federal workers after Donald Trump was elected. But she never imagined it would be like this.

Everyone who voted for hillary clinton in the 2016 primary over Bernie Sanders should be blamed for why we have 2 trump presidencies.

Democrats have shown they'd rather have trump than a candidate who actually fights for the working class.

[–] blakenong@lemmings.world 11 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Oh please. The media is to blame for that one. Bernie never got the coverage needed. Also blame the DNC, for basically assuming Hillary would win. And blame corporations for backing the “centrist” Hillary. Then blame who the fuck ever for only having two viable parties. After that blame the people. They got shit to work with.

Btw, I voted for Bernie.

so did i the first time he got cockblocked and regret it.

also, the only people to blame for only having two viable parties are the american people. living, breathing examples like mexico and sheinbaum prove that going third party makes things better, but only if voters stop unquestionably swallowing the propaganda that there are only two viable parties; or atleast that's true until the american empire forces a regime change upon mexico... again.

Again, I just really don’t fully blame a big dumb group of people who are told there are two parties. I mean, there are more, but ask almost anyone and they can’t name them all. This is because they get no coverage. That should be illegal.

it's your own responsibility to educate yourself on anything; especially when it comes to voting since coverage showing you what to vote for comes with a profit-centered agenda behind it.

our system has mastered the ability to keep people uneducated and that's the reason why we have trump now and will descend further into fascism; say something the next time someone tells you that they "don't like politics" or "don't like math".

Sure you can blame media for what your entire country chooses to do

I blame the rich yeah. They control the media and the laws. Reduce education and promote hate. People are dumb apes unless they are provided with education. Educated people can look beyond the trees and see the forest. Which are you?
