So you think prostitution should be legal or porn should be illegal?
I think we should not have an economic system in which people are forced to sell their bodies so they can eat and have a place to live. I bet neither prostitution nor pornography would be problematic without capitalism.
"Forced" is where I'd disagree. In cases of trafficking/extenuating circumstance sure. But, I dont think sex work is the ONLY way many of the workers could earn a living.
yep.
but for some reason sex workers argue that they have 'no other choice'. usually under the guise that sex work pays higher wages than service work available to them. maybe it does, but it's still a choice and plenty of people do not pursue sex work despite it being a choice they could make.
I notice this whipped out when people try to argue with you that you need to pay streams/onlyfans types who put out their content for free. I mean, it's cool if you pay for porn and are proud of it, but it's stupid/shitty to try and shame others into doing so.
We all sell our bodies, the entire working class. We sell our potential relationships, our potential health, our knees and our backs. It is not different to sell your cock.
