This is the same government that couldn't keep a sexual act between two consenting adults secret. You're being paranoid.
This isn't the same government.
That government didn't have nearly the same complicit media, nor federal agencies that this one does.
Shit, it didn't even have the same ones as immediately after 9/11.
You severely underestimate just how bad things have gotten. Take a god damn look at the absolute blazing fire this administration has set to our constitution and law. This is unprecedented times.
Its not that we're paranoid, its that you stick your head in the sand.
They also kept the Manhattan Project secret so there is that.
