I thought it was some kind of game mechanic or something else that they didn't understand. I didn't think it would be this spoiled. 🤷♂️
To be fair, you find out about half way into the game.
So it's literally a pivotal plot point

The good news is, this isn't much of a spoiler. The game shows this part coming from miles away. You learn about the disease probably like 3/4ths through the game. It's part of the ending, but it isn't what makes the story good.
Me too. I have a wife and kids, and a 50 hour a week job. Been plugging away sporadically for a year. It's not the spoiler that bothers me, it's the "it's a blah blah year old game why haven't you finished it yet etc etc"
I've played it, but yeah, 7 years isn't that long. If it were like 20 then yeah, people probably have already played it or weren't going to —though still, there will be some new people, either younger people or curious people, so not an excuse to spoil it. 7 is still recent enough that people are still going to be new to the game.
Goddamn it dude. Not everyone has played the thing. This is just bad form.

A couple years back when I switched to Linux
I don't have the money to buy everything when it comes out, let alone the time. I caught rdr2 on sale and have been plugging away. It's not the spoilers, it's smug people like you.

I love the hive mind coming out of the wood work to downvote comments just because someone else has. I've noticed that often here. It was especially bad on Reddit. They see a zero or a negative one and have to put their unreasoned stamp on it too.
I bought the game a couple months ago and have put maybe 6 hrs into it so far so yeah, having someone spoil a part of the plot just because the game has been out for a while is fucking shitty.
I just down voted you after someone. Must be the hive mind.
