some devices will bypass the battery when permanently plugged in. I have an old phone i use as a syncthing node and i log the battery current on it. It never actually gets used by the phone, it only suffers from some very slight internal discharge.

Are you trying to say its her fault that incels are going after her? I mean sure people should get off twitter, but damn.
Only in the sense that someone was deported with no consideration for their well being. Thats most deportations though.
has me reconsidering my use of syncthing
This is about a third party piece of software that isnt directly related to syncthing. The devs of syncthing have however been recommending syncthing-fork as their choice for android, so it definitely needs clearing up.
Dumbest shit i have ever seen. Especially for 150$
This often actually exists still, but those companies dont do big marketing and their products will cost 3x that of a "normal" one.
Especially because some idiot painted over the key and thread.
I really hope our entire government goes to prison for life. I know it wont happen but i wish for it anyway. Merz is a nazi and a terrorist.
The ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas in effect since October 10 is a key reason for lifting the ban.
There is no ceasefire. Israel hasnt ceased firing for even a single day.
Shit article.
One planned change could unite many Europeans in relief however: the EU wants to get rid of those pesky cookie banners seeking users' consent for tracking on websites.
Yeah because they want to ALLOW ALL DATA COLLECTION BY DEFAULT INSTEAD

From an actually useful source https://noyb.eu/en/open-letter-digital-omnibus-brings-deregulation-not-simplification
Among other things, the Commission proposes changes to core elements like the definition of "personal data" and all data subject's rights under the GDPR. The leaked draft also suggests to give AI companies (like Google, Meta or OpenAI) a blank check to suck up European's personal data. In addition, the special protection of sensitive data like health data, political views or sexual orientation would be significantly reduced. Also, remote access to personal data on PCs or smart phones without consent of the user would be enabled.
Basically "Hey Microsoft, we saw what you are doing with Windows Recall and we fucking love it. Please continue extracting literally every piece of digital information about all humans on the planet"
Who cares tho. Anyone who sells now still made massive gains. Only gamblers think about "potential gains".
It also had a steam launch a while ago :)
Some phones do still work without, but i think most dont.
