Sounds like she'd be better off with even less.
I have zero of that family anymore. It was literally how they made my partner feel that made me snap and just be done with them all. My partner is more important to me than their abuse and disrespect. It was merely nostalgia for some kind of Stockholm Syndrome anyways. I don't need it, and at some point if I hadn't done something, it'd be my disrespect to my partner to not deal with that family of mine.
There's potentially a conversation that you both deserve better.
