Key excerpts:

The family had been staying with a relative in Los Angeles for the previous seven months after crossing the border legally for a court appointment through the now-defunct CBP One App to seek asylum in October of last year. They had been granted parole status in the U.S. while they waited for their day in immigration court.

"They were crying in fear. One of the agents at one point lifted up his shirt, which displayed the gun that he was carrying," Mukherjee said. "The 6-year-old boy was terrified to see the gun. He urinated on himself and wet all his clothing. No one offered him a change of clothing for many hours."

The 6-year-old boy has been diagnosed with leukemia and has missed a medical appointment to be treated for worsening symptoms

The Texas Civil Rights Project says the family has been placed in expedited removal, which allows for rapid deportation without a court hearing. The family's attorneys fear they could be deported before their lawsuit is heard.

Pretty sure they will keep on doing this until we start doing it to them and their families. More effort needs to be taken to identify them and humiliate them.

spread the word:

https://icelist.info/

A Responsible List

The ICE List is a public, open-source effort to document the people responsible for enforcing deportation, separating families, and carrying out immigration raids in the United States.

The first person that popped up when I clicked it was a freed Jan 6th rioter. Fucking disgusting. This awful administration is a disgrace filled with traitors and cowards.

[–] RedditIsDeddit@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

I had the same thought.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 16 hours ago

This is not the list we NEED though. Forbes already compiled most of that list.

[–] dinren@discuss.online 4 points 17 hours ago

Lovely thank you

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 34 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

agreed. not enough people are talking about how these fucking cowards can't even show their faces. while being a hired goon for the party trying to make it illegal for protesters to wear masks. fuck these people

[–] RedditIsDeddit@lemmy.world 3 points 13 hours ago

If they can't show their face, they aren't police imo.

This is posted on (dot) world, which is basically reddit but slightly left of center.

In other words, mods will remove anything that maybe might be construed in a way that messes with the status quo of the rich and polititicians stomping their boot down on those they deem below them.

Whether mods agree with my phrasing or not, that's what's happening. I'm sure they'd prefer to frame it as "making sure our community doesn't get taken down by The Man"

[–] dinren@discuss.online 10 points 16 hours ago

Yeah they keep using that line about being taken down, even though there has never been a lemmy instance taken down. We can also point out .ml as an example of shit not being taken down even though it’s quite literally calling for death of millions of people.

I just think .world mods are slightly right of center.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

Yeah why is mine removed but not the comment I replied to? Was I too correct ?

[–] dinren@discuss.online 3 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Yes, I don’t understand either. I’m literally calling for action against the families of Nazis, not just Nazis. I think this is just an example of how the mods don’t actually review reports, Or their context.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 16 hours ago

Your plan sounds ok but the fascists reported my plan. I think that means we need to tell people about my plan. And make Forbes a way more in depth list.

[–] RedditIsDeddit@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

lol same thing happened to me

[–] WeirdGoesPro@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

What would you propose is an effective method of doing so? With masks, guns, and no uniform, I don’t even begin to know how you could discover their identity without being swiftly arrested for interfering with ICE.

[–] dinren@discuss.online 2 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Follow them from a distance. Gps their vehicle if you can get close enough. Volunteer to be one of them to gather info. I’m sure there are lots more ways. Some are obviously more dangerous, and a person should not do something if they think it is sure to fail.

[–] WeirdGoesPro@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Volunteering to be one of them will force you to be committing atrocities, in my opinion. I’m also not sure how to GPS their vehicle either considering that they are using work cars and most trackers like AirTags will report to nearby phones after a while to prevent stalking.

The issue that I’m seeing is this: ICE agent is doing bad things while fully masked. You follow or track them back to the station. They enter the station and disappear. A bunch of people in normal clothes come out at the end of their shift and go to their personal cars.

How do you know which one is the janitor and which one is the person you observed committing a crime against humanity?

[–] dinren@discuss.online -1 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Take photos before and as they leave. Follow the people leaving.

Everyone inside that building is guilty. Even the janitor.

[–] DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works 2 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Everyone? Pretty sure most of the detainees did nothing wrong.

[–] dinren@discuss.online 1 points 11 hours ago

I’m sure you know that’s not what I mean.
