Khalil, an Algerian citizen of Palestinian origin and an American green-card holder, was detained by DHS officials around half past eight as he was entering the Columbia residential building he lives in. After entering the 800-acre resort, activists painted in 3-metre-high letters, “GAZA IS NOT FOR SALE” across the lawn of the South Ayrshire course.

Making the popular opposition to Trump’s intentions clear, activists spray painted the club house and dug up the greens including the course’s most prestigious holes – used in numerous Open Championships.

"The Dutch Public Prosecution Service (OM) has opened a new investigation into nine Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters for violence they committed in Amsterdam during a match against Ajax [Nov. 7, 2024]. These Israeli hooligans have not yet been identified but are suspected of assaults and vandalism, AT5 reported.

"During a court session today, the prosecutor confirmed the investigation.“

"Dutch police began reviewing footage of the violence days after the incident on November 7. Videos circulating online showed Israeli fans chanting racist and Islamophobic slogans and carrying iron pipes, sticks, and belts."

Khalid Abdalla warned the 'right to protest is under attack' amid Europe-wide crackdown on expressions of Palestinian solidarity

Khalid Abdalla, the British-Egyptian star of the hit show The Crown, and 87-year-old Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos are among those who have been ordered to attend formal interviews with the Metropolitan Police over alleged public order breaches at a pro-Palestine rally in London in January.

Abdalla, who played Princess Diana's lover Dodi Fayed in the hit Netflix drama The Crown, said on Monday: "I received a letter from the Metropolitan Police summoning me to attend 'a formal interview' in relations to the Palestine Solidarity Campaign protest of Jan 18th."

So far, 21 people have been charged so far over the protest, the police said. They include the rally's chief steward Chris Nineham and Palestine Solidarity campaign director Ben Jamal.
