I'm not actually sure that's true with the truly absurd tarriff that trump has levied. Sure the stuff that's on hold will keep getting bought from China but other stuff will almost certainly be cheaper from other countries at this point. Nearly tripling the pre sale cost is not good for business.

I agree. Try arguing that to a conservative judge in the south and you will simply be sent home with your abusive parent, who is likely enraged about having to defend themselves from the "law".

I think you underestimate the sheer number of homophobic parents that aren't necessarily abusive but would be if their kid ever came out. There are a lot of people I've talked to that their online escape was the one thing that kept from killing themselves.

I'm not saying that it's healthy but there are a lot of kids in a situation that they can not escape from because of the way that society treats children. Children are treated as something that is closer to property than an individual when it comes to things like law enforcement and emotional abuse.

There are people at my work place that I thought that I got along with and then all of a sudden they come out with the most bigoted things that I have ever heard. I straight up do not trust any man my age at this point there are just too many of them that are "hiding their powerlevel"

The sheer amount of stress that existing in the modern day causes for most people is significantly more medically significant to caffeine addiction, and a lot of it is people finding an escape from their work by getting a coffee.

Newsom is pretty much the only person under the Dem banner I wouldn't vote for in 2028. I would enen vote for Pelosi but not fucking Newsom.

I assume the best intentions of people that haven't repeatedly proven that they do not have the best of intentions. Telsa has repeatedly shown that they are willing to break the law to accomplish something they want and this isn't a huge step farther all things considered.

Never attribute to malice or stupidity that which can be explained by moderately rational individuals following incentives in a complex system.

Nah fuck hanlons razor. Evil people can be stupid but they are still evil. If the incompetence reaches this point it is also malice.

If a loving god ever existed they died before humanity made it to the stage.

But not everyone has bent the knee to him. I know at least one lawfirm is taking him to court if not out of morality they are at least smart enough to know that it looks good to go against the executive when it brakes the law.

So many people are so convinced that other people should commit suicide by cop and not them.
