If you ever followed American politics throughout history, you can see how this can easily be abused. Before, you had to take a test to determine if you were smart enough to vote. The test was the same for both whites and minorities, but it was graded differently depending on your race.

What defines "speaking English"?. Is it a basic level, being able to read road signs or being able to speak to dispatch, the loading crew, or ems at a fundamental level? Or is it college level? Will you even be tested if you're white?

With trumps many many anti-minority policies and rhetoric, and his abuse of ice, as well as setting up black sites and selling people to the El Salvadoran concentration camp, it's hard not to think that this will be abused in some way. This is in no way a pro-English law. This is an anti-minority law.

However, cause of how dot and cdls are set up now, I doubt that much will come out of it tbh

Yeah, good point.

Hence the question mark. It was more of a sarcastic statement than anything. But again, I rather know he's a pervert than him do it in the shadows. The devil you know is better than the one you don't. I want heinous people to be openly heinous so I know I'm supposed to object to them.

Not to mention that a huge and popular segment on his show is to entirely reduce women down to sex figures (regardless of their position or fame) by making them sit on a sex toy for the interview.

Guy is just a pervert and is very open about it. Which, respect? I guess it's better than the devil you don't know. But yeah, he's very gross towards women. Treats them like their only purpose in life is sexual pleasure.

It's okay if he uses that word, he has the pass. The ivermectin really set his IQ below Forest Gump levels.

Being an asshole.

Could be paying an arm and a leg. He already paid with his leg, doesn't realize that the arms next. Also why he's still optimistic. Doesn't realize that the worst of it hasn't even happened yet. (Also the artist might have just not known how to draw him chained up like the rest with just one arm)

Anybody else noticed that they just described reddit to a t (minus the fact that Reddit does offer more niche communities, and I am ASSUMING that's what they mean by more content). I've been on Reddit since 2012. And I promise you the only thing that's ever changed about reddit is the bots and content farms. It's always been shitty mods, shitty people, and mostly shitty content. The height of reddit IMHO was the r/circlejerk era. Reddit was shit, but at least people acknowledged it, and were very tongue in cheek about it.

Put a hundred toddlers on an island. Leave a few older children that will disappear a few years later that are taught to fish/hunt/gather. See what kind of language develops, or what kind of civilization. How many survive?

It is VERY unethical. Add variables to other islands, such as the amount of children, and what you teach them.

Also worth noting, segregation may have "ended" in 64, but there's still soft segregation to this day. There's a massive divide in culture, that's left over from administrations such as Reagan. Racism still hasn't ended, although it has gotten a lot better just in the time I've been alive.
