That wouldn't be very typickle.

They're not attracted to gaslight

Is this true? I remember using gas lights while camping in the 90s, they definitely attracted bugs, but I can't remember if moths were specifically. Where I live now moths would be the primary issue and we have a bunch of old gas lamps. Maybe I should use them. Except for the pollution and other bug death.

Wow I have never given a horse a bath, can't imagine what that is like 🙂 we do have a mule who enjoys having his butt washed but that is because of other things going on.

I immediately thought about Terry Schiavo.

While I have a lot of issues with Department of Defense things, being over budget is a pretty common challenge in the private sector, too. Transportation is over budget a lot because we underfund it. Not that the current administration cares.

I am not savvy enough to understand the article at a technical level, but this says a lot about the right-wing mindset:

Other changes mandated by the EO include:

  • Barring the Treasury Department from sanctioning people in the US who are involved in cyberattacks on US infrastructure. The accompanying White House statement said the change would prevent “misuse against domestic political opponents.”

We will deal with it, thanks for making this list ❤

Get some dialup and see what is on alt. nowadays?

🙁 for me it was over 20 years ago, I do not know how many countries he toured in, tho. I am happy people continue to appreciate his work!

Have you heard of Diane Ackerman? She has a book, A Natural History of the Senses, that gets deep into human connection to these things.

When you say you miss sound, you mean while reading? I wonder if there are books that get deep with sound description. I can think of a couple that might, but they of course do not have actual sound.

As I was looking for whole grain ramen options, I kept running across these comparison pages that looked suspiciously similar. Are any of these folks real? How would I tell? Not sure what to make of the sorority one.

I hate that, in addition to endless Amazon results, we have to deal with these (AI?) results, too.

We're in like fourth spring here right now so a little bit of dry and warm is pretty nice!
