I think one drive was the biggest factor in me deciding that I needed to self host my files

When I was a younger I asked my dad this same question and I will never forget how frazzled he was by it. He told me some b.s. answer like, "Oh, I don't know. You don't really need to do that."

He made me feel humiliated for asking. At a certain point I could not ignore it anymore though, so when I experimented and tried to figure it out myself, I did cut myself and there was blood everywhere. I was terrified and thought I was going to bleed out. Luckily it wasn't really that bad and I managed it on my own, but I remember how scared I was.

After going through all that, I told myself that I would help my future son if he ever asked me a question like that. You are a better dad than mine was in this situation. It's your job to help them with whatever they need, and it would have meant a lot to me back then if my dad had helped me the way you did. I can guarantee your son appreciated it and will remember how you looked out for him.

Can you get 320 or Flac with this though?

I have kids and they can push your limits, but the idea that she would abandon her child and basically be anticipting her death is disgusting. You are the adult. If you can't handle the child then go through the process of finding someone else to raise them.

Lol, when more and more kids don't learn how to handwrite.

If you get this upset from someone driving below the speed limit, then you should not be driving.

When I was in college, I remember one of my profs telling me that so many students submit assignments just before the 12am deadline. I always thought it was madness that someone would play it that close to the deadline, but people do.

Lots of people care only about status. If someone is better looking then that means to them that other people will see that they have won.

They would rather have someone they can show off at a party than a person who is actually compatible with them.

I was using xmanager for a long time, then I moved on from Spotify altogether. I think it depends on how you use Spotify. I was really trying to hold onto streaming music because I didn't want to loose my playlists, but when I looked at my Wrapped every year, I was listening to the same artists and songs alot of the time.

For me it made more sense to buy the music I loved, rather than pay a monthly fee to listen to the same tracks. Now I have a great currated music collection on my phone that I control. If you decide to buy music, 7digital and Bandcamp are great.

I'm looking to get a gaming pc. I mainly want to use it for emulation of PS3 and Xbox 360 and lower. Would also use for modern gaming some too. I would like to load Bazzite onto it so I can be on Linux and use a steamdeck like interface.

I'm looking at the second hand market and I see one with these specs:

Ryzen 5 2600 Evga GeForce GTX 1660 ADATA XPG 16GB (8x2GB) 3000mhz MSI B450m pro-vdm max 500GB NVME M.2 + 1TB HDD Thermaltake 650w 80+ Bronze Coolermaster q300l v2 mATX Case

Would this PC work well with Bazzite and run PS3 games well?

I'm 30 and my body feels better than when I was 20. Looking after myself alot better now.

I set up Immich on a spare mini PC running Linux Mint with a spare external HDD to store the library. Used Docker compose as recommended on the website. Everything was working great last night. Then this morning I decided to move the mini PC to a more permanent location. I powered down and moved it. When everything restarted though I discovered that I was unable to c9nnect to the immich server. I went onto the mini PC and the local host and all it says is, "connection was reset." I have tried restarting docker from terminal several times and it says the immich services are running. I still cannot connect to the server though. What can I do to fix this?
