Weird it can be a federation issue since it's from your home instance. Maybe you are subbed to others community that are active to another level of magnitude, so your feed on active never shows at the top this smaller community.

It crazy. I never felt happy to receive spam. I'm still blocking it but it feels so different on the fediverse away from corporate greed and with so many tech-knowlegable people around.
I read some people saying it may be scammers trying out the fediverse waters and others saying it may be used to harvest user IP somehow.
