That's a great movie! I haven't really started showing my daughter (9) scary movies yet. I was terrified of spiders for like a decade after seeing Arachnophobia as a kid, and those Scary Stories books gave me nightmares for years, so I'm reluctant to expose her to media that might trigger something like that for her. Tough to know when it's the right time—or at least, that's been my experience.

I haven't downvoted you, but I usually downvote any comments complaining about downvotes, or pretending that their point is proven by downvotes. It's always fallacious masturbatory bullshit.

But that can't be right! I have it on good authority that A&W stands for Amburgers and Woot beer!

Looks like this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Arthur_and_the_Knights_of_Justice?wprov=sfla1

I'd totally forgotten about this show, but I remember watching it, as well. Curious to see how it holds up.

Not a lot, I imagine! Still a pretty low hurdle to clear. All you really need is ammunition and a place to shoot it. It sure helps to have a spotter/RSO/somebody who knows what they're doing, but you can muddle through all right given enough trigger time.

True enough, but it's not very hard to learn.

Pretty good pizza at Woodstock's, tho.

In a similar vein, I've found that when I start saying things ironically, they tend to creep into regular, unironic usage. "Cheese and rice" being the latest example, in my case.

I see them fairly often in Houston, but I've yet to see more than one at a time. Maybe all the dipshits around here went in on one together, and it's some kinda time-share situation.

I bet the salad was good, though. Silver linings, and all that.

It's been working fine with my GTX 1060. I'll probably get around to trying different distros at some point, but I'm pretty happy with mint. Most of the issues I've had with it have been due to its emphasis on stability; that is, it's slower to incorporate changes than more cutting-edge distros. At least, that's been my impression—I'm no Linuxologist.

Your comment resonated with me. I wish I had more to contribute, but all I've got right now is: you don't seem like such a mean cow.
