Thank you. That video was unexpectedly interesting.

If doing it makes you feel better, that’s all the point you need. Yes, it may be a useless waste of time, but that’s secondary. If it’s something you want to do, don’t let the possibility of backups stop you.

It’s funny either way. In case it’s arson, though, I hope whoever did it gets away clean.

It would be best if Canada could just fend for itself. As we’ve seen, even relationships that seem rock solid can change very quickly.

Buying from the U.S. would be the worst possible choice.

Well, she/it has a point. You don’t fill wine glasses all the way.

The AI image generator thing is new to me, though.

“The high price of eggs is in no way President Trump’s fault,” Kirk writes. “Almost all the increase took place during Biden’s final months in office.”

This attempt at misdirection is so artfully sleazy I have to appreciate it. It should be taught in classes.

It’s still misdirection, though. It doesn’t matter WHO was in office, or WHAT the price of eggs was. Trump campaigned on the promise to lower those prices.

He’s not annoyed because the public doesn’t understand. He’s annoyed at the public for having the audacity to call him out on his bullshit.

Know which news sources are truly Canadian owned, and which are American owned. Once you’ve narrowed that down, figure out which sources are owned by rich Canadians who might be profiting from uncertainty or hostility.

I’m sure this will work exactly as planned, and have no negative consequences whatsoever.

Sometimes it’s nice to dream.

This is just the right kind of absurd for our current government circus. I believe the headline completely without even reading the article.

I keep in mind that, unlike in many countries, our military pledges an oath to the Constitution, not to a person.

Neither do I, but sometimes people are just fantastically stupid.

I was expecting it to be just another post-apocalyptic drama, and I’ve seen so many mediocre ones that Station 11 wasn’t high on my list. I was very wrong.

Station 11 was well written, well cast, and interesting (if confusing at times).
