The problem is that, while the EU has undeniably grown more cohesive and rational, it's still just "a bunch of countries at the same party," or at least that's what it feels like. Putin knows this. Everyone knows this, but few can afford to actually talk about it and risk spoiling the image.
I do agree that we need to present a unified front on this and show that asshole that he can't swing his weenus wherever he pleases (which, arguably, should've been done years ago, but WHATEVER!), but I somehow get the feeling nothing will happen until he actually does something. As though those "oopsies" drones which landed everywhere but Ukraine weren't enough as-is...
Edit: and if he does do something and we continue wringing our hands figuring out a balanced approach, then we're fucked.

Well, that would be nice, but it's still not all of them. Unfortunately, I own a Zenfone 10 as my main driver, and Asus have not released the unlock tools they promised since Zenfone 9. And, afaik, this is applicable to a lot of the top producers, with a few exceptions.
I can't wait for the new regulations to properly settle in, hopefully we'll start seeing full unlocks with the upcoming generations...

Canada so totally has those "Contemporary European" vibes, too (or maybe we have the Canadian vibes, either way!), would be an excellent fit imho. It'd make a lot of sense.
I mean... look, I'm genuinely not trying to be a sour asshole, but why did we need this? How is this furthering the development of smartphone tech? It's, like... sure, pretty graphics are nice, but do we really need ray-tracing on our phones? (I know it's not ray-tracing, but you get my point)
