Yes, it's surprising because it's NYC. I expect better from a city that's 60-70% liberals.

As much of a POS as Cuomo is, he's been elected before and a lot of older people trust him because of that, for reasons I can't fathom. He was simultaneously a terrible candidate who also had a high floor.

Though I 100% agree that it's disgusting how many Americans don't seem to care about the character of their leadership, because it absolutely matters. You don't get to whine about corrupt, uncaring politicians when you consistently reward them with your vote.

That already happened during the election. Can't say I'm worried about his PR team's ability to handle the onslaught.

I fully expect the media to start manufacturing bullshit issues the second he's sworn in though.

Let him dig the GOP an even deeper hole then. The more people he hurts the weaker he becomes. It's unfortunate that Americans were dumb enough to even get into this situation in the first place.
