Mozilla is such a disorganized company. Why wouldn't they find another search engine deal besides Google? I'm guessing that the maintainer feels like there's no longer an issue (it's CSS that you can implement to your server), so that means they're technically done fixing the bugs. Otherwise, it's not a bad idea to take a look at the Reddit inspired UI that you can host on Docker.
