This is thinly veiled weaponization of the Justice department. Call it out, don't capitulate and spread the narrative it "might be a threat."
I have a few places were it's been useful. Transform these inputs and return these outputs in this format. And write or modify a SQL query.
Small things, very small. I just need it to write, I don't need it to do logic. It's been a somewhat useful tool for searching a file, particularly when I don't know the exact function or info I'm looking for.
Anything more than say 20 lines at a time gets me uneasy. Anything that needs to call another function or have multiple functions it's terrible at. It will constantly duplicate existing functions.
Call it out for what it is, it's bullshit. They are conspiring to make it sound like a threat and they are flooding the message. Call them out for what they are actually doing and don't just act like we should give a fuck what their perspective is.
They are coordinating propaganda, the media doesn't have to spread it.
I'd almost love it if that ruling screwed over polices qualified immunity for their "official acts."
I have one. We still use the plastic bags, but just needed a place to put it that wasn't "out."

In the firework industry we use ABS in our mortars because they will stretch and rip if a firework explodes in the tube rather than shatter and turn into shrapnel.
