During some war games a few years ago, the Dutch Navy managed to score a hit against a US Navy carrier using a diesel sub.

Like someone else said here, carriers are big, slow targets, it's not impossible for something to sneak past and sink them.

What exactly does "scaled" mean?

[–] blackn1ght@feddit.uk 2 points 2 months ago

The languages dropdown on the search result has "US" listed as a language, but not English. Literally unusable.

Wonder if it has a childlock function? Those buttons are going to get pressed if a household has toddlers!

Credit cards offer protection over debit cards. After all, it's the banks money if something fraudulent happens on a transaction, not yours. I always use my credit card over my debit card mainly for this reason.

Some credit cards offer cash back or rewards which build up when you spend.

I have a direct debit set up to pay off the balance at the end of the month so it just automatically pays itself off.

So while you're at the garage, you can pick up some Pussy and Superpiss.

Granola is different, that's oats, nuts & berries. Flapjacks are rolled oats & golden syrup which are then baked.
