Yeah. That song even has the benefit of being in English, so you don't need to find a translation as an English non-German speaker.

There's lots of places in the US I'd still love to visit some day. However, if it means risking getting thrown in jail by ICE for liking a meme online, I am sure as hell not going to do it right now. I know it sucks for everyone who didn't vote for this fascist takeover, but you need to clean up your mess first before inviting guests over.

What on earth are you talking about? It's on the 370Z chassis, one of the most loved enthusiast platforms out there.

Anyone wrapping it around a tree has a case of driver error to blame. Having owned every generation of Z since the 300ZX, I found it to handle excellently.

Rammstein got so sick and tired of being called Nazis just because they make harsh music with German lyrics that they put out "Links 2 3 4" two decades ago to clear up that they lean socialist. And Till Lindemann himself has said repeatedly that they hate Nazis. And yet, people still associate them with it because they can't think beyond "Scary German music = Nazi".

Glad they are calling out Danielle's blatant misuse of the notwithstanding clause, and I fully support a general strike. It's high time someone told the UCP to stop treading on Albertans' rights and freedoms without consequence.

Shocked they didn't want to gut their economy for vague assurances of unspecified protection. I really though that masterful negotiator and deal broker had them cornered. Next time he may need to throw in some shiny baubles.

I mean, you're not wrong but the way she got into office initially wasn't exactly a shining beacon of democratic process....

Although, in fairness, the province did reelect her after so perhaps they did want an even crazier flavour of nuts after all.

I think we can summarize a good 50-70% of all news coming out of Alberta as "Alberta considers continuing to be an instigator and fomenter of seditionist and extremist political views regarding the unity of our country." sigh

You could get people to vote for a literal rock in AB, as long as it's painted blue.

Absolutely 100% agree. Rosetta and Proton are great examples of how native-like emulation can be implemented to help support platform transitions.

I know most apps are just webview2 these days, but since more and more companies are forcing their consumers to use apps by either gimping their websites outright or forcing users to use 2FA based on their own app, app support is vital for any mobile platform.

I speak from experience - I kept using my Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone until the bitter end, which came when the government ID app stopped being supported on my device and I had to switch to keep being able to connect to the vast majority of services (Sweden's BankID system is both a blessing and a curse this way).

Asking the question I was wondering about too. If Google wants to kill AOSP eventually that's all fine and dandy but that doesn't stop people from forking it and continuing its development. And that way, at least, we don't end up with another Windows Phone conundrum where the OS is perfectly fine but will eventually die due to lack of app compatibility (although Windows Phone's demise was helped by some truly knuckleheaded executive decisions too to be fair).

Or, failing this, all Linux phones need a flawless Android emulation layer similar to Proton for Windows games, because I am afraid it will be a significantly steep uphill battle otherwise.
