They only want you when you're 17, when you're 21 you're no fun.

Godspeed in your efforts! I am of the mindset that there is no benefit, whatsoever, to seeing an incredibly great majority of news. It's just so depressing most of the time.

Been talking to folks more and making more friends, which has been great. Seems like many people are of a similar mindset.

I remember back before I got my own PC. My brother had Windows 98, installed Morpheus (similar to Kazaa).

I looked for a game, I think it was some console game. "Wow, I didn't even know this was on PC! Wow, it's only 15MB, how did they get the game so small?? Computers are cool!"
Every time I ran it, the screen would go all funky with every click and after a while return to normal.

On a separate occasion I deleted System32 files (whichever ones it let me at the time), to free up space.

It's quite funny that a lot of people ask me for various advice, fixing devices, PCs, etc. just a friendly reminder to myself that everyone starts somewhere. Boy I messed up so many PCs when I was much younger.

Too late! They're going to have to go after the Ryujinx sporks now. When will they learn? There's just too much cutlery for them to compete!

Can't wait for ByuBinx to release.

I remember when Skype first came out, when I was a teenager. I called a random guy in Japan; he was learning English, I wanted to learn Japanese (as is tradition for teenage anime fans). It was a very kind series of calls, and we talked a bit about Japanese culture too. He taught me, rather patiently, how to pronounce certain basic words properly.
It's a shame the service was treated like it has been. There was great potential in connecting people.

Wherever you are, random Japanese dude I forgot the name of, konbanwa!!

(This is a serious question)

Are Pixelfed communities generally accepting of cannabis related content, or is that seen as a no go on most servers/connections made with an account?
I recently started using Instagram again here and there because of cannabis related communities and such, which they seem rather relaxed with at the moment (just to connect with folks), and a transition could start for me granted there is an opportunity for sensible cannabis communities to exist - I'm a medical user and it has to be a part of my life due to the required usage for my conditions, I hope this is understandable.

Regardless of if the answer to my query isn't favourable to me, I hope this platform expands and continues to gather a larger userbase.

This is rather interesting to me, as I have gut issues where I should be limiting my consumption of red meat. Red meat, specifically beef, in excess gives me rather uncomfortable toilet visits, however completely refraining from any at all causes flare ups in my mental conditions (namely, my depression and CPTSD symptoms are somewhat more exaggerated). It's at this point where I would crave something like a burger, almost like an addiction that somehow lay dormant until that moment, and my mood is lifted for some time afterwards.

I'm not within the field of science, however I have been noting how my diet affects my gut and mind for many years now, and that's just what I've noticed. It makes sense to me for a study to prove some correlation as well between the gut and brain.
