If that were as true as you would like us all to think, there would be several prominent democrats calling this a witch-hunt-fishing-hoax perpetuated by the radical right. But you don’t, and they aren’t. The democratic party is an undeniably mixed bag but parity with the republicans is just laughable.

They either A: scrubbed any conservative loyalist from anything they will release, or B: will indefinitely stall it with some bullshit excuse that they fabricated.

It’s clear that he was terrified of them being released in an un-redacted state. They have been all over the map on this subject, contradicting themselves at every turn. Denying, acknowledging, saying it’s a tool used by the left, but only the left are guilty in the files, etc… It could not be more clear what the implications are should the raw content go public.

It’s a badge of honor, really. It shows that you really got to him.

I’m starting to understand the art of the deal now. You see, it’s to get fucked over so many times on purpose so that you appear like you can’t negotiate shit. Then one day you turn the tables and catch everyone off-guard, scoring a major win. I have a feeling trump is just waiting for that golden opportunity. Truly a master at the craft, truly.

No thanks and no thanks. The best message she had was basically “well, I’m not trump” and air-balled. With the little runway she was afforded, I cared less about her life story, breakout republican alignment and Walz and Vance getting chummy, and more about tackling the very real pressing issues every day people face. The message that she won’t do what trump is likely to do was just a low bar and already understood, or at least implied, and whatever else she had was nebulous and same-old.

I didn’t dislike her, and she would have probably been fine, but she struck me as a B-tier candidate on the best of days.
